ABOUT US
SKA HR Consulting is a Tasmanian based human resources company, established in 2012 and servicing Tasmanian businesses and government statewide. SKA HR partners with clients to deliver human resource solutions. We are particularly skilled in reviewing workplace issues, providing advice and assisting clients to implement solutions to ensure positive change.
We are led by Founder and Director Kristy Scott (MBA, BCom, Lic: 20786). Kristy has a can-do attitude and takes a professional and open minded approach to all situations. Kristy has had management roles in education, manufacturing and energy industries, and has worked for small private enterprises, large employers and governments. Her clients have ranged from sole traders, through to large government departments.
Whilst Kristy has a range of qualifications to support her technical knowledge she is primarily relied upon by her clients for her integrity, honest, frank and fit for purpose approach. Her broader business knowledge, keenness to understand her client’s position and creative capacity to find the outcome(s) that works for the client has been the source of her repeat and referral clients in the 10 years operating.
In terms of qualifications Kristy has a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Tasmania, majoring in Human Resources Management and Business Manager and a minor in Accounting. She has a Masters in Business Administration, majoring in Human Resource Management, from Deakin University.
Kristy is an accredited facilitator in DISC®, Workplace Motivators® and Emotional Quotient®, and is a licensed inquiry agent (20786) under the Tasmanian Security and Investigation Agents Act 2002. She also holds internationally recognised qualifications in change management, and is a SafetyWise ICAM Lead Incident Investigator.
Kristy enjoys working with like-minded people to achieve success. Working closely with clients, Kristy tackles difficult problems and develops strategies to help clients seize opportunities.
SKA HR has other human resource professionals which are engaged based on the type of work, industry involved and, in some cases, the size of a project. We have developed strong relationships with legal advisors, and have a network of business professionals we are able to contact to assist in your situation.
SKA HR can help in a number of ways to support your business to create a strong foundation and framework to deliver people-based success. We only engage on a case by case basis to give you maximum flexibility and control over the relationship, we do not believe in retainer relationships nor has the business ever required this.
